Cross Eyed Critters Re-Opens June 3rd!

Credit: Andrea Behrends

Positioned directly off the hotel lobby, Cross Eyed Critters is the brainchild of Marc Rose and Med Arbous of Call Mom, the exclusive food & beverage partners for Graduate Nashville. Marc and Med are also responsible for the bar that broke the internet, White Limozeen – which was just named one of the Best Bars in America by Esquire!

Truly one of the most unique watering holes to be found in Nashville, the karaoke and animatronic (yes, animatronic) bar is excited to swing open its doors once again after being open for a short period from January – March 2020 before the pandemic.

  • Cross Eyed Critters will be open on Thursday, June 3rd

  • Open Thursday – Saturday; 6pm-2am

  • No reservations – all guests will be accommodated on a first come, first serve basis

  • Food & drink menus will be available shortly

  • For Covid safety measures, microphones will be wiped down between each use

About:

Cross Eyed Critters is the first-ever animatronic karaoke bar, complete with a backup band of robotic musicians. The trio— a bear, pig, and foxwill keep guests and visitors singing on-tune, performing songs such as Sweet Child of Mine by Guns N’ Roses and Islands in the Stream by Kenny Rogers and lots of Dolly Parton. Bar offerings include renditions of nostalgic cocktails and shots, alongside plenty of cold beer and bar food. A nod to southern dive bars, the concept’s name takes inspiration from Eric Church’s Merle Haggard tribute song, Pledge Allegiance to the Hag.

Design:

The rustic walls of Cross-Eyed Critters are lined with black velvet paintings of country-western stars, while aged wooden floors create a gritty, worn-in feel. Mismatched vintage furniture completes the space on the painted green and pink floors. At the center of it all is a custom-made, three-piece animatronic band who take centerstage amongst the guests each night.
