RIAA Gold-certified country artist Hayden Coffman releases his long-awaited new EP, Goner, out today. The six-track project showcases Coffman at his most compelling yet, blending honest emotion, high-impact energy, and the signature storytelling that continues to fuel his rapid rise.
Leading the release is the EP’s title track and final song, “Goner,” available today as the project’s last revealed track, serving as the perfect closing statement to a collection built on emotional honesty, tension, and undeniable country grit.
“We wrote ‘Goner’ about the classic toxic relationship,” shares Coffman. “To elaborate, one partner is always threatening to leave the other. Maybe they do leave for a couple of hours or ‘break up’ for a short time. In the end, they always come back. Everybody’s had at least one relationship like this, unfortunately. The one fueled by empty, meaningless threats to leave when in reality they only want to get a reaction.”

With Goner, Coffman delivers a project that feels both profoundly personal and sonically expansive. Spanning songs written just months ago to ideas first born nearly six years ago, the six tracks showcase a range of moods and moments, from high-energy country songs to emotionally charged ballads. Together, the EP serves as a reflection of Coffman’s evolution as both a vocalist and songwriter, capturing multiple chapters of his life in one cohesive body of work.

Following the success of his 2025 album Love And A Heartbreak, Coffman has continued to build momentum as both a vocalist and songwriter, with his hit single “Better Off” earning RIAA Gold certification, marking a major milestone in his fast-rising career.
Now with more than 280 million global streams and over 58 million YouTube views, Coffman’s growth shows no signs of slowing. His breakout track Where’s The Whiskey helped lay the foundation, while continued support from major DSP playlists, including Spotify’s Fresh Finds Country and Next From Nashville, Amazon Music’s Breakthrough Country, and TIDAL’s Country Rising, has solidified his standing as one of country’s most promising independent artists.
