The 6 1 5 Featuring Sarah Harralson

Sarah Harralson is a country singer-songwriter that has been living in Nashville for almost eight years. After leaving her hometown of Knoxville, she went to Belmont and worked on the business side of the music industry while pursuing songwriting. She has new music coming out soon, so follow her socials to stay up to date!

Sarah Harralson's Top Six

How would you say your hometown of Knoxville differs from Nashville? Knoxville has a music scene too, but it's definitely more bluegrass oriented. It's smaller than Nashville and also is more of a college football town.

What are some of your favorite Nashville restaurants? My favorite spot for Mexican is Bakersfield, and more recently, Hawker's in East Nashville for Asian food. For a good steak, Kayne Prime! Yum!

Is there a place you haven't eaten you have been dying to go? Always! I have a running list of restaurants to try, but at the top includes Oak Steakhouse and Superica.

If someone is coming to Nashville for the first time, where do you take them? Definitely downtown on Broadway, but I also like to show visitors the local music scene at The Listening Room or somewhere they can experience a writer round. And there's always endless restaurants to take them to!

Of course we love your style, any favorite Nashville shops? I love looking at the cute clothes in Posh and Finnleys & Draper James on 12 South. Project 615 is the place to go to for t-shirts!

What makes Nashville special to you? Nashville really is home to me. When I moved here for college, it just felt so unique and right for me. It's a town where people striving for the same dreams can get together and collaborate and experience wonderous things. I wouldn't trade Nashville for the world.

One Thing About Nashville

What one thing that excites you most about the Nashville music scene right now? Even though I'm a country artist, I really love that Nashville is becoming more than just a country scene and an all around music scene of multiple genres. I personally think it's a great thing that people are moving here from LA and New York and all over to pursue music. It makes me feel proud to live in the place to be.

Five Favorites

Best place to grab a beer? Tailgate Brewery in Bellevue

Best Broadway bar? I will always love Honky Tonk Central the most!

Favorite place to go on date night? Typically a new restaurant followed by a drink in midtown. Patterson House is my favorite cocktail bar.

Do you have a favorite music venue? Bluebird Cafe will always be my favorite

Favorite museum? Country Music Hall of Fame will always be my favorite, but I recently toured the National Museum of African American Music downtown and it was absolutely amazing.
