JUSTINE BLAZER WINS"BEST NORTH AMERICAN BLUES SONG" FOR SINGLE "COLD DAY IN HELL"


Nashville, TN (September 1, 2023) - Nashville-based recording artist, producer, and songwriter Justine Blazer continues to make waves in the music industry! Coming off of the success from her #1 charting album "Girl Singing the Blues," Justine recently won "Best North American Song" for her single "Cold Day in Hell" at the Intercontinental Music Awards. The song also reached #2 on the UK iTunes Charts.


“This song talks about never going back into that toxic relationship," Justine shares. "It’s a juxtaposition, displaying sad and soulful melody lines along with sassy lyrics that call out the person who did you wrong. I wanted something that was thought-provoking, soulful, and bold.”


Justine also released the official music video for "Cold Day in Hell," which showcases a raw and vulnerable side of Justine. The video, shot by Percy Priest Lake in Nashville, TN, was directed by Justine Blazer and filmed/edited by Elizabeth Sim. Click HERE to watch!


Co-written with Lou Molitch, "Cold Day in Hell" was produced, mixed and mastered by Justine Blazer. The band was engineered by Grammy-nominated producer Bobby Holland in Nashville, TN. Additionally, the song features special guests and Grammy Award winners Larry Mitchell (electric guitar) and Kitt Wakeley (piano).


On top of her own personal music accomplishments, Justine recently received another #1 on iTunes with the song "Spread Hope Send Love Around The World" by Amy McAllisterand Friends with The Power of One Movement. Justine co-wrote, performed, produced and mixed this single, which currently has over 50K streams on Spotify.


Furthermore, Justine collaborated with Billboard chart-topping recording artist Kim Cameron on her single "Just in Time" (produced by Robert Eibach), which recently hit #1on the iTunes Dance chart and #83 on the iTunes Top 100 Chart for all genres. "Just in Time" marks Justine's fifth #1 to chart on iTunes, totaling seven #1 hits in her career.
