MUSICIANS CORNER ANNOUNCES SEPTEMBER SUNDOWN LINEUP
Musicians Corner will return to Nashville’s Centennial Park this fall for its annual September Sundown series. The concert series, normally every Thursday evening in September, will expand its dates after reducing events in the spring due to COVID-19. September Sundown will be held every Thursday at Friday in September through October 1, in addition to a special three-day weekend in partnership with AMERICANAFEST from Thursday, September 23 until Saturday, September 25. Each event is free for all ages and will feature multi-genre musical performances, a variety of food trucks, craft beer, wine, and signature cocktails, local artisans, Kidsville activities, and featured community partners. September Sundown will feature free live performances by British born singer/songwriter Lucie Silvas, American Idol winner Kris Allen, former Pentatonix singer Avi Kaplan, Grammy Award nominated bluesman Cedric Burnside, indie rockers Illiterate Light, powerhouse pop duo Louis York, folk multi-instrumentalist Lydia Luce, soul songstress Alanna Royale, folk pop troubadour Joshua Radin, and many others. View the entire artist lineup below. “We are eager to return to Centennial Park, and look forward to doing it safely,” said Justin Branam, Musicians Corner Program Director. “We hope that those who have missed free live music will have the opportunity to experience it once again at Musicians Corner.” Musicians Corner has established event safety protocols based on current CDC recommendations. Masks will be required and attendees will be asked to practice social distancing from those outside of their group. Policies will be assessed each week throughout the September Sundown series and will adapt if necessary.
