Take the trip From Nashville, TN to Charleston, SC

If you looked up Charleston, South Carolina you would see the definition of true hospitality. We were honored to participate in the 2023 Charleston Wine + Food Festival this weekend and did a lot of exploring. Seriously, walking almost ten miles a day! It was a true celebration full of music, swirling glasses, and feasts. Our adventures took us to some amazing places that soon became repeat stops over the weekend.

The Notso Hostel was our little home away from home. It is located in historic downtown Charleston, SC and an easy walkable distance to most things!

Our first stop each day was at the The Pass - Artisan Deli and Market. They are some of the most genuinely kind and down to earth people. And the sandwiches speak for it self. It was a quick addiction, we had to keep going back for more! Our favorites are the Such a Nice Italian Boy Panino and the LT Americano! My only regret is not picking up some Pepper Shooters with Prosciutto & Provolone for a later snack!

Next up, Rodney Scott's BBQ where Everyday is a Good Day! Rod's Original Whole Hog Pork Plate with some Potato Salad and Collard Greens will get you feeling just right. Don't forget to add on the Austin Eastciders to wash it down! The Nashville, TN location is opening soon so don't forget!

After six trips to Charleston, we finally landed a spot at Leon's Fine Poultry & Oyster Shop. Oysters and Guinness in an old garage.. what more do you need in life?

High Wire Distilling Co. Southern Liqueur Amaro and Botanical Gin is what you need! We were lucky to have this fun spot as our shuttle pick-up spot to the Charleston Wine + Food Culinary Village each day. The cocktails went down easy and the company there was spectacular. We could hang out here every day.

Are you ready for more oysters? Of course you are! The Darling Oyster Bar is the spot! If you time it just right you can get a prime seat at the oyster bar where the action happens!

Hopefully we haven't lost you yet on the recap of our Charleston journey. Just want to share a few more spots that we think you may enjoy. We also want to give a big THANK YOU to the entire team at Charleston Wine + Food and the beautiful people of Charleston for making our trip the best one yet.
