What makes Nashville special to you? What makes it special is the immense amount of talent. The writers that reside here... that come from all over the world are top notch. The musicians and producers cover every genre out there.
Say you had a completely free day in Nashville—no work allowed. What would you be doing? That depends on the weather for sure. LOL! If its nice out I would 100% be golfing, out on the lake, or at the pool. If it's a little gloomy and cold I'll be chilling with my dogs and watching some classics or true crime.
What are some of your favorite Nashville restaurants? Butcher & Bee, Pelican & Pig, Pearl Diver, Otaku
Is there a place you haven't eaten you have been dying to go? The Patterson House in the Midtown neighborhood!

If someone is coming to Nashville for the first time, where do you take them? I mean Broadway is probably a must!.. But I love East Nashville. Some hole in the wall dive bars and then some rooftop spots for appetizers and drinks.

What is one way Nashville has influenced your music? It has broadened my abilities to write songs with more of a story other than a metaphor. The writer I was 3 years ago is totally different than now.

Do you have a favorite music venue? Basement East in East Nashville.
Favorite place to go on date night? I would say The Optimist. It has everything you could want for a date night. It can be more casual with elegance in the bar area and a very spacious dining area. It's more seafood and steaks with a wide variety of oysters.
